Biography
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was born into a family of fame and prestige: the Kennedy’s. He is the nephew of former president John Kennedy and son of Senator Robert F. Kennedy. He learned to use his voice by being one of eleven children by Robert and Ethel. Growing up the family spent a lot of times outdoors doing numerous activities. He could have done many things in his life but he has chosen to fight for the environment and everyone’s right to clean water and air. Robert F. Kennedy is dedicated to making the environment safe. His reputation as a great defender of the environment stems from the many legal actions he has took to make the environment better. He is a graduate of Harvard University. He studied at the London School of Economics and received his law degree from the University of Virginia Law School. He also received a Masters Degree in Environmental Law from Pace University. He has been part of some incredible battles fighting for the environment. He helped Riverkeeper to restore the Hudson River. That single achievement helped spawn many new environmental organizations across the globe. He has also been involved with suing treatment plants to force compliance with the Clean Water act. Robert is involved with many hardworking efforts to help ensure that the environment gets better. He serves as Chief Prosecuting Attorney for the Hudson Riverkeeper and President of the Waterkeeper Alliance. He is also Clinical Professor and Supervising Attorney at Pace University School of Law’s Environmental litigation clinic. He is the co-host of Ring of Fire on Air America Radio. He is also credited with leading the fight to protect New York’s water supply. He is an incredible hero for the fight towards a better environment.

Kelley Alley
Kelley Alley is director of the Anthropology program at Auburn University. She is an accomplished scholar as she received her B.S. from Cornell University and Ph. D. in Anthropology from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. Just like Robert F Kennedy Jr. environmental safety is very important. She has carried out research all over the world in particular India stresses key environmental issues. Her current interests are to write a book to inform society about public litigation in India that describes how citizens use the courts to enter policy and decision making on environmental issues.
